Hello F4200 community and thank you again for your help. I am happy to report our Delta cup-30 is now running better than ever. The 2 biggest factors were 1, our load size compared to how fine our product was ground up. we had product that was practically ready to pack into joints. Not taking that into account we packed the bags to 20lbs and it would hold upwards of 6-8lbs of ETHO. Which exceeds the load limit of 25lbs. Taking this into account and packing our bags to 15lbs there is no longer a load issue. The second contributing factor was the vibration dampening isolators not being properly inflated to the proper psi of 40 (5+/-psi). We now have our D C-30 running better than ever  :+1:

I would agree material consistency/prep is important when everything else is working. But you can 100% run 28-24lb bags all day. If dropping to 15 works with your throughput and keeps things flowing to get through the shakey material.

if 20 was your standard bag previously, I’d try running heavier before going lighter and bottlenecking it there. It’s rated for 25-30lb biomass. Imo the factor to this is if you guys are self packing or have packers. The heavier the better, 28s run so smooth and silent in high rpm that you can’t even tell it’s running. But if you guys are self packing and not prepped with bags, running & packing 28s is a good workout.

agreed. I’ve definitely seen 35lb piss them off, but 25lb should absolutely be appropriate.

Ive also seen a difference between operators that take 30-45 seconds to make sure the load is balanced, and those that just throw the bag in and shut the lid.
