Bbtank and the exploding vapes

Hello , I have a client who has been using BBtank for a long while. Recently we did a redesign ( costly and long process). Furthermore , we ordered hardware and did the work. Everything seemed fine till we started getting videos of the devices running wild and then melting down. I have never seen this type of issue before , and after complaining to the vendor… they telling me how we filled them ( cap in under 30s , yea ok ) is wrong. This has really hurt my clients opening day potential and now we are looking at yet another rebrand. Really we feel they are producing dangerous products and don’t want to be accountable. Anyone else have issues with this brand , or runaway devices ?

Thanks

haven’t heard of this one yet but I’d love to see some videos of melting vapes.

Sounds like same bullshit releafly was pulling

The devices without a button to turn off/on will autofire and melt the coil/tank sometimes, I’ve seen avd axils do it a few times

Which is most likely hash where it ain’t supposed to be…

And we all know a) that happens b) most things do NOT like to be hashed.

@Captndabn button or no?

Telling you you got hash where it shouldn’t be because you let things sit before capping sucks as an excuse, but it very well could be the proximal cause.

It’s also possible “car dash” enabled hash migration…but telling your customers it’s their fault would make you as but as the hardware OEM.

I’ve seen it in brand new unfilled units. Relying on a diaphragm switch with no power shutoff is not a great design
