Average amount of CBD extract from 1 pound?

Go on some of the threads like r/faucilover lol… thats the only one I find good as its just people baiting other people into liking Fauci.

Scroll through it and you’ll get what I mean. I have trekked onto that sub 1 time just for context and I was impressed at how good the shitposts were.

With stems you will lose more solvent as you can’t get it out of stems as easily as flower

Yes man they do teach how to calculate extraction yields in chemistry lab. Very many classes in college will touch on the basics of calculation, chemical engineering is one specific degree that is very concerned with this. But these are all general concepts that can be applied to any extraction from cannabinoid to gold from ore. The specifics will depend (obviously) on exactly what extraction technique is being used (hot ethanol VS scCO2 for instance). And to a large extent it is trial and error to get a consistent yeild to use for future calculations. Did his question consider any of that complexity? Or did he ask a dumb question like a dummy?

Most everything you need is taught in the first semester of organic chem, which you typically need a full year of general chem to get to. Extraction, distillation, recrystallization, etc. is all in there.

This site wouldnt exist without lvling up competitors and neither would most the knowledge we have now FROM THE SITE. Neither would 90% of what you know on extractions im sure.

Hes just starting i didnt just simply state 13% i did mention multiple variables @anon64373531 as did @cyclopath and just like that @SoStupendous just gave out your trade secrets!!! YOUR ALL OUTTA BUISNESS ERMGRD. Jesus fing christ yall just fucking scared hes gonna smoke you in competition cause if u scared of that type of post AND consider it competition we know you aren’t what your scared of… competition.

Also hold up shits changed its a competitive industry NOW? prices have been dropping since my intro to the weed game a decade. Id argue its been competitive and considering 85% of the shops would ask me to leave before even showing product i had to vend, id argue it was competitive than as well. You should get off the site, get out in the real world. Reading off this site will only take you as far as the students that graduated with degrees and still have no jobs

Also who says its competition and not someone whos just trying to make sure they are not getting cucked by the extractor on the yields of their product?

Iff you’re so bent out of shape about the state of the forum, leave.

This is nothing more than a hobby for me, and even I can see the past 5 years have seen more change in the cannabis industry compared to the last 20 combined. Keep talking about things before, see how that goes for you.

You’re an old dinosaur complaining bro.

nobody asked but heres my 2 cents, ive only done runs in my kitchen, I have 0 industry experince, and I have no chemistry training, but even I consider this a low level basic bitch question. It may sound like people are being dicks but in truth they are saving you a ton of hassle, if youre asking questions like this then this isnt the game for you.

And here’s the biggest secret of all regarding how to get to the top of this highly competitive industry:

Be honest in your business dealings.

Being honest with your customers and business partners automatically puts you in the top 5% of this industry! It’s that easy!

Edit: It might not put you in the top 5% for annual revenue, but it will put you at the top 5% for steady business month-to-month and year-to-year!
