My very first batch I poured into a mason jar at about -2inHg, put it into a pressure cooker that doesn’t build pressure ( I guess propane / butane can escape that seal no problem ).
Opened it up a week later full of nice crystals and separation, I think if you leave enough solvent in enough will still crash to bottom to allow crystals to form
I promise to has nothing to do with just leaving solvent, the terpenes can cause the same reaction without tane present (just micro bits). But the terps act as your solvent for the Crystals to form, I have plenty runs where I let all the tane cook off at room temp, short purge, then jar the goop mother liquid up! Plenty crystals, there 1000 different ways to skin a cat

Although leaving the solvent will give more solution to slowly evaporate because bigger crystals
So i can pour a mini slab and vac it down for how long until I place in a fat mason jar sideways per say to get that sandy crystallization. ?
Yes, you can get to full vac slow at 80f , no longer than hour or until reacting stops, if just couple bubbles here and there that’s ok, time is your purge, once done, I like to get out put directly into small 4oz wide mouth mason jars, but I’ve left plenty on PTFE and slide into big mason jar, with filling smaller jar you can get lil more pressure, lil bigger crystals, do not open once sealed, wait 2-3 weeks, most time 3, sometimes I popped open stir real slow, looks done till stir, then wet AF… Seal back up, within week it should be finished, some small 3g runs, lol really really small, I’ve had do in 2 weeks and be done, getting cold while extraction w dry ice will make much clear bigger crystals then not, if not just apple sauce with not as big sugar really small sugar
****In no way am I saying this would meet threshold levels for certain states, this just meets my personal needs threshold,…I can’t taste any thing bad, I’ve thrown in vac after Barely any reacting, super smooth, strong AF, taste like super gas,… If your stuff just really decent, and I mean actually has decent taste just that after plant taste bad, this will collect all the perfect and make so so good… But to reach state guidelines you may need a lil more purging, but for you and all your good friends, if you can get tested, my friend did, says came back pretty decent, but also told me live levels are a bunch compared to shatter anyways! It’s all about what Ot been saying, small crystals really easy, I’m almost hundred extracting with my method you could have turn into shatter, sealed up and you would have same thing just way less terps… Leaving tane just slows down the evap. So does building pressure by heat. I get huge clear sugar pieces doing that, I’m doing some experiments with dimples drilled into bottom jars, all different things, I had one jar with and imperfection in the bottom it makes a large Crystal everytime.
You will get table salt sized pieces with purging first, just make sure short,lowslow… To keep terps… And might even just use the heat to get all reaction done before vac…I don’t like muffin anymore, gets everywhere
And after the 3 week period do I place in oven and purge for a day or 2 ? Or how to you fully purge it or make sure it’s safe enough to consume … I have 3 jars that the butane evaporated and it’s just a honey thick viscosity that’s been Sittin in the oven at 85*f for about 4-5 days now. I wonder if I should seed it … or I wow see if I can pour it into paper and throw it in a jar and hope it will get that tech you got here …
So wanted to get a little more info on this from people that really know what’s up. I think this is thca crashing but I’m unsure. I don’t believe it has any more solvent in it. It has been sitting in a room ranging from 77-97f for about a week now. Any info I can look at regarding this?

there does not seem to be enough solvent left in your jar, and it is likely to stall pretty soon. if that was your goal, you’re doing great.
otherwise, you need more solvent in there…
