HS ≠ law

They back pedaled during the opportunity for the senate to make a ruling but decided on a multiple year recess.

D8 is safer in Texas than any state by my observation, based on regulatory bodies.

Felonies going around now, college station area. Need to check hays county

There’s a possession charge from Collin county for pg2 that came up for a Delta 8 FOIA too

XD you can send em to my counties

I’ll give ya a nice hired escort if you pay enough lmfaooooo

I’d say Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, Lubbock and the shale oil lands of West and Central Texas say bring it. Haha fucking not even near border towns like El paso like they have time for d8

What do I know right. Only been slow rolling my way into it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

College Station with a case by case basis by police stated on d8 (meaning oh shit backlash) is an attorneys dream

The picture is pretty murky as far as how LEO is treating it. There’s hundreds of arrests for hash, all felonies, and no codes to distinguish d8/d9 at the state level. The only reports we get are what comes up in the news, or what I dig up in public records. Local police seem to have more responsive records than the state agencies thus far

They spelled cannabis wrong.

I’d like to look into it more as well. My friend owns vast land across the state and just finishing up on 20,000 acre industrial hemp grow for hemp Crete. We would like to get into the d8, HHC, d10 categories but we need to make sure we can legally do a large lab like that in TX outside Dallas County.

Possibilities with that connection is endless. Surely with his contract with Texas A&M that can get us in the door with higher places.

Your already late to that party!

The Texas Senate hearing committee, already acknowledged D8 was legal and they wanted to put a stop to it. But they did not pass any bills that addressed. There are a few D8 manufactures in Texas. :cowboy_hat_face:

But why is it explicitly listed in the current health and safety code? This is the list of controlled substances the state regulates

Current codes are often superseded by case law then thrown back to the legislature to codify the actual current state of legalities. With something like this, especially in Texas, the legislature will sit on the voting so that local PD’s continue have statutory authority to make arrests, prosecute cases, and generate revenue. With a competent attorney, you’d skate. With a public defender, it can be a crap shoot.

Not to mention the county level differences you’re seeing–around the big cities (Harris, Bexar, Travis, Austin, Dallas, Tarrant, and El Paso counties) you’re a lot safer as far as local PD’s go. I just moved across the line from Harris to Brazoria and I wouldn’t fuck around with it down here. Honestly still a little freaked out to put up my hemp field in spring even though it’s legal, licensed, etc.

I lived on the edge of Bexar and Police were buying d8 carts lol and visibly consuming.

Yeah I think you’ll see that everywhere. Unfortunately the “do as I say, not as I do” mantra flourishes in Texas PD’s. Shakes fist.
