Anyone have experience with lco2 injection coils

Hello anyone have experience using a jacketed lc02 coil for injection? We have been using a coil dipped in iso/dryice been working fine, but we ended up getting a -80 chiller didn’t really speed up recovery and the solvent warms up as your recovering so you have to wait for it to cool down again, we decided we are just going to use chiller for a dewax column, also don’t really make sense to cool down the whole tank anyways, we’ve always liked having pressure in tank to move around solvent in the columns.

I want to buy a lc02 coil and get a lc02 dewar and not to worry about the dryice off gassing away. Does anyone currently run a lc02 coil by chance?

What was the -80 chiller hooked to originally? Your solvent tank?

We bought and ran it for a day on the solvent tank, didn’t like it. But the idea was to not have to keep buying dry ice for injection. For recovery we run tap water through a condenser works pretty good. Surprisingly there wasn’t much of a difference keeping the tank cold. We run active with a mvp.
