Seriously, look at all other options first. Then look at the specs of the machine and how much you’ll have to swap reservoirs and such if you dont find another that you like

I appreciate everyone that has called out convection and the shark 710… I’m in the market right now and will be getting a machine an thank you so much from steering me away from the Shark. I am so sorry for anyone that has purchased one before. That is terrible. Best of luck everyone out there.

I like your machine but you being backed up will be forcing me to go to another one. too bad. I can’t wait. I need logistical advancements ASAP!!!

We are working on it I promise! We just signed a lease for an expanded facility and will be hiring a couple more manufacturing technicians in the next 30 days. Unfortunately that doesn’t help with immediate needs.

Best of luck! (And might I recommend a Jet-Fueler to get you going sooner? Lead times on those are only about 4 weeks.)

Hi everybody! I’m new to this forum and I work for Convectium. I cannot deny that 18 months ago or so, we sold more machines than we could support in terms of training and service. Because of this, the 710Shark lost some fans. I can tell you wholeheartedly that the 710Shark has been greatly enhanced, our training materials and support have been enhanced and our engineers, all Orange County-based, are top notch. This is a different company now and I’d urge you to give us a second look. We now have the support of major MSOs and Canadian LPs and sales are at an all time high. Please check out Convectium’s website for some great videos of the 710Shark in action.

…and please reach out with questions, concerns or whatever. I’m here to help!

We are looking at a number of cart filling and capping machines and would love your input. We are most seriously looking at ATG, Thompson Duke, 710 Shark, VapeJet, & a rotary filler/capper from China. We are looking at all functions including throughput, down-time during sku changes, cart/tray loading, ability to do carts & disposables as well as 3rd party devices for white label. We will be running mainly D8 as well as some D9. We also need to find an semi-automated capper that will handle push top carts as well as disposables and hopefully not need to be taken out of the foam. 710 did reach out to me to proactively mention their past issues and their improvements across product and customer service. Thanks in advance for everyone’s input.

If you are in contact with our sales team, feel free to tell them Ryan said to set you up with a remote demo. I think the Vape-Jet system is the perfect fit when you need that much versatility. Not needing to get a factory programmed every time you switch SKU’s is our strong point, along with keeping various stored configurations for pump parameters, temps, times, etc. The 4th axis allows you to switch between AIOs and regular carts, D8/D9, .5ml 1ml, etc. with just a configuration load.

Lets chat! Seriously, would love to show off our machine to you!

I haven’t really spoken with anyone on your team. Please DM me so we can continue the conversation.
710 Shark/Convectium has a pretty nice capper as well. Does any have experience with their capper? I do have to say Dave from Convectium has been excellent from a customer service side with all of my questions.

I have 2 710 sharks we are downsizing so we are willing to sell one there are other much cheaper options for capping. A leather press works.

In currently having issues with needles bending. The machine will complete about 4 or 5 runs and then it seems to go off center just enough to catch the lip of the cart and BAM! 4 or 5 needles gone. Frustrating!!!

Are you prepping your distillate before adding it to the tray? I’ve “warming up” my distillate before i add it to the oil basin tray and I set my injection temp to 96 while my basin tray temp is set a little higher (98°).

I haven’t had any of the issues it’s giving you, my problem is, after 4 or 5 runs the needle tray seems to go off center and i end up bending or pushing in the needles. The machine runs fine for a few runs and then this issue occurs, i feel like it’s not worth the convenience of it only runs right a few times. Most of my time with the machine seems to be adjusting or troubleshooting issues

yup. trying to put 100 needles in a window that tiny over and over again is not a great design, in my opinion.
we bought the original 710 Shark and had the same problem. huge waste of money for us. We run the ATG filler and capper now and I like it 100x better.

Still have that old 710 Shark collecting dust lol so if anyone wants it, hmu!! I’d be willing to bet the owners would let it go for next to nothing.

You scammed people with a machine that never worked correctly. You lied about filling 100 carts everything minute. You are full of shit with a response saying “we sold more machine then we could support”

How about owning the fact that you fucked many people and your sorry. Not some bullshit post.

I would never and will never recommend anyone to buy a 710 shark.

After a few runs i have to manually re align the needle basin which isn’t too bad but if the basin is hot it can be a pain in the ass. Outside of that major issue it’s not a bad machine, I’ve seen other machines that can run 100s of carts/hour that seem more economically feasible.
