Anybody recovering n-butane with a -20C chiller passive?

I’m a big fan of Fluid Chillers https://fluidchillers.com/ for low temp
Liked Chillking for medium temp when they were still around but they closed doors a bit after covid.

The G&D we’ve got has not had to be thought about. It turns on, makes cold, responds to commands, and the couple of times I’ve communicated with support they’ve been prompt and helpful. I think they’re a bit overpriced, but at least it’s been reliable thus far, and has helpful support, even though we are out of warranty.

I very much don’t recommend Cold Shot. They’re not overly poorly made, though there are definitely things that I would change if I were building a similar unit, and we’ve had to replace a number of things on it. More reliable than the Hubers we’ve got/had.

My one experience speaking with someone on the Cold Shot support team was enough to make me actively suggest no one ever deal with them. I don’t remember the specifics as it was some years ago, but it was a problem that I solved with a couple of hours at my laptop after the vendor said they wouldn’t help me without buying a $5000+ upgrade and paying one of their engineers to fly to Canada from Texas to install.
