Long story short I was in California last month to set up and commission a piece of equipment my partner and I sold, and my truck and trailer were stolen out of a hotel parking lot in Whittier by some thieving assholes. Had everything airtagged, got some information on the thieves but would like more to pursue with since cops haven’t been real helpful. Have a neighborhood in Riverside where I believe that my truck + trailer were parked at for a ~15 minute window of time early in the morning, truck was recovered 2 days later but of course a bunch of parts and tools got taken off it and my trailer is still MIA.
Needless to say I’m still very pissed and out a trailer it’s gonna cost me at least $5-6k to replace, tools that cost more, plus bailing my truck out of the impound yard, refueling it and replacing stolen/damaged parts and stereo. I’m back in Colorado now and don’t have the time to fly or drive back to California to knock on doors.
I’m willing to compensate someone $125 for what I expect to be <2 hours worth of work, to go knock on doors with a picture of the truck and trailer I’m looking for and ask people in that neighborhood if they have any ring footage from a specific time and day when one the airtags first registered the location there and then went dark about 15 mins later. If you are successful and get either a file or a ring link you can send me showing the truck + trailer parked at a location on either street and especially anybody or anything that was in/on the truck going in to a home or garage on that street I’ll double that payout to $250.
