How do I get to the top of a thread w a lot of comments? It could take an hour of scrolling w these 1000+ comment topics
If you click on the number that indicates which comment number of the thread you are on, it should bring up an expanded view that allows one to easily move through thousands of comments. 
that solves your problem.

Also, when the title of a thread can be seen like this:
Clicking in the area circled in red will flash to the top of the topic.

Press the “Home” button on your keyboard if on a computer.

The scroll bar on the right hand side of the thread can be used. Also the regular browser scroll bar works fine for me.
