Analytical and other science software repository effort

I have a few different copies of software, mainly older hard to come by stuff, a few of which were shared here with my by others, as well as ones I’ve obtained on my own over the years.

Does anyone want to work out and contribute sharing this kind of stuff, as a community effort to get it all in one place and easy to access?

Does this site host actual files, or is there somewhere best to host these things?

I’d love to see more of that old ebay stuff become useful again to people, and lower the barrier to home or small scale testing.

And example of what I have at the moment, soon I’ll be adding a chromeleon 6.11 disc image hopefully.

So, update on the software stuff.

Chromeleon 6.11 requires a dongle. Fuck. Lol

Well. Ive been coordinating with someone in estonia on cracking this fucking thing. Im super tired of hunting down software for old lab equipment, and this software has the ability to control damn near all of it natively.

This is going to cost me an arm and a leg, but you cannot find chromeleon 6x licenses these days. You can find a dongle and a cd, for 600usd ish, but you still need the license key to match the dongle and thermo fisher wont help you there.

Im on revision 4 of the crack, which finally bypassed the license server to the degree of connecting to a device and even sending commands over the interface. It wont let me save the method or program quite yet, but were close.

Also, it will always probably say its in demo mode because we basically shut off the demo timer (1 hour) as part of the crack. Demo mode will let you connect to a device but not control it at all, so even being able to do that is a huge win for now.

I have also now a virtual hard drive image of a newer version of chemstation than you can find online but i need to convert the image to be reliable to boot on other VM machines.

Also, as a side note,

If anyone needs help setting up old chromatography equipment, specifically Perkin Elmer, or Dionex, ive become quite well versed in the very specific installation procedures for some of this stuff.

For example, the old PE Clarus 500 MS unit needs an older version of turbomass, as well as specific lan settings and FTP server configuration to work properly.

Also, i will also be able to set up dionex DXLAN stuff hopefully when this next project is done, so that means things like AS50 autosampler, AD25 uv detector, or even 3rd party hardware. Ill snap a picture of the list of supported hardware next time im at the computer to show the extensive list of older stuff it can run.

Chromeleon 6.11 cracked finally.

This is operating a AS50, GS50, AD20 stack on proper DXLAN interface. Ive waited like 5 years to get this working. Pretty cool haha.

The collection has grown considerably.

Im still working on getting a dedicated server here for hosting this as its now about 200gb total.

If anyone needs any of this software, or wants to work with me on the costs of cracking some of them, id love to still work at open sourcing or making available software to utilize old gear.

If the company is no longer selling or supporting a particular license i feel more inclined to not really give a shit about cracking it and releasing it.

hey I just purchased lc-2030c plus machine month have software for Shimadzu please let me know also need some help mariocompton60@gmail.com

This is fantastic work, I’ve got chromeleon 7.2 SR5 and 7.1 installers and the dump from a dongle. Curious to hear how you managed to get 6.8 working!

I have an actual license for 6.8, but the 6.11 i paid an estonian to crack for 700$ cad.

Id be into cracking 6.8 but it is about 2k CAD, so thst would be a community effort if we could come together for the cost. I have dumps, as well as usb tracelogs for that.

I also own a fully working 7.2 license lol. It is decent software

Hey @Aurion
Did you ever upload any of the software anywhere? I have a 2695 and am looking for a CDS that can run it without selling a kidney. I would appreciate any help or advice.

Is it possible that I can get a copy of these? I have a traceGC ultra that we inherited but we dont have software for it. I want to see if It can actually communicate with the software before buying and thermo doesnt offer free trials

I would appreciate if you could help me get Chromeleon 6.11, any copy. I have TRACEGCULTRA and I want to see if its actually going to communicate with the software before I tell my lab to invest in the software since thermo doesnt offer free trials of either xcalibur or chromeleon

Thanks for your help if you can, cheers

does anyone have the software for the Cary Agilent Eclipse Fluorescent spectrometer?
