Amino Acids in CBD

What type of Amino Acids are in CBD? How do the difference purity concentrations affect these Amino Acids?

There are no functional groups in CBD that are considered amino acids. However, you can use CBDa and add amino acids to the molecule.

The acidic Cannabinoids are all carboxylic acids.
As are amino acids.

CDBa

tyrosine (an amino acid)

they both have a -COOH

That’s pretty much all they have in common.

The plant needs to make the synthase enzyme to produce CDB, and that enzyme is a protein…so amino-acids are required to make CBD in-vivo…but amino acids are required to make plants (and all other life here on earth).

What is your goal in asking?!?

Trying to feed your plants?

Thanks for the info. Actually, I’m looking into creating a supplement product with CBD and Amino Acids.

The formal definition of amino acid is a compound with an amine and a carboxylic acid present in The scaffold. CBD does not have the amine.

Do you want them combined into one molecule or separate in the same formulation?
