They decriminalized all substances. Meaning, an addict won’t get arrested.
But if you have 50 kilos, yes you are getting arrested.

Just wish they’d offer help to the addicts. Instead they toss em back on the streets to let them continue to not contribute.
Few countries have tried this, and offered them help and a place in society while they recover and most of it worked. Would cost lots of money however.

A community in denmark, alexandria, did the same thing. They told heroin addicts get clean or leave our community. Most of them, not wanting to be homeless, in Denmark, got clean.
Oregon decriminalized cannabis in 1973, quite some time before other states. Yeah, they different.
The Oregon Decriminalization Bill of 1973 abolished criminal penalties for possession of small amounts of marijuana. As a result, possession of up to an ounce of marijuana in Oregon was a violation (not a crime),

Turns out CA tried and failed in 1972…tried again in 1975 and got closer.
Two years after the implementation of the Controlled Substances Act, Proposition 19 of 1972 (California Marijuana Initiative [CMI]) marked the first time California attempted to independently legalize cannabis. While the proposition ultimately failed, California Senate Bill 95 (The Moscone Act) was passed three years later in 1975, which downgraded cannabis possession of an ounce or less from a possible felony to a misdemeanor. While controversial at the time, many consider SB 95 to have played an instrumental role in the progression towards medical legalization.

And if you’re using European countries as examples of how ideal life can be i would throw at you, they have no military deterrence. So while America pays for these countries defense by our budget along with other super powers that secure Europe essentially these guys get to play science experiments with social restructuring. They would never have the funds to pay for every addict to clean if they had to fund nuclear submarines research and development. And on another note, most the junkies here work in the mills and they pay good taxes and we get wood cheaper then if there wasn’t a prevalent drug problem in the area. So I really don’t give a shit that’s the way of the world lol. Hemp hardened me

I personally wouldn’t want a junkie working on heavy machinery. Liability at that point, unless he can prove he can work and he doesn’t shoot up smack all day. Stimulants like meth, hell, I’d hire a meth head if he can work 2x as long and 2x as much for the same pay.

Perception is reality. If you believe your hard labor jobs you benefit from are performed by people that choose to be their then your prescription is different then mine. Just like all your produce is picked by drunk people. If you’ve ever been around hard labor on a farm they drink all day long. Especially immigrants. If you don’t think those people are not on uppers then I think you need to hang out with people that are hard laborers
