Id like to see a bit more of a plan… but im in next month for another raffle. I think id like to keep it to 1 a month from me.
The @StoneD one is a bit disappointing to me and maybe we need to spread them out even more!

I want in the dry rub business ngl. Everywhere I go (in general) sauce is available but dry rub or season salts aren’t (fried chicken fanatic)
But I got $ towards sauce boss and would gladly help with what I can towards it.

Dry rubs are superior to sauce, vinegar based wing sauce is the bane of my existence

Wow! Truly blessed having so much support and encouragement from so many of you who I have never met in person (as well as from those I have)! Givin’ me all the feels!
While I was not anticipating a fundraiser, it would be stupid to say that I couldn’t use the assistance. My unemployment ran out last week, and I am still trying to put together an irrigation system for 1.5 acres, some high tunnels, and at least one greenhouse. Licensure (department of ag, FDA, etc) and some classes so I am certified to do low acid foods still needs to be paid for. And I need to pay for an IP attorney to trademark/copyright business names and logo. Commercial kitchen space won’t be needed until closer to fall, but there’ll be plenty to pay out then, too.
I’m not opposed to setting up a gofundme and having some type of tiered rewards system, but this first year is not necessarily going to be my first year for retail products. This year’s goal is seed production and recipe finalization. I’m growing 107 varieties of pepper this year, most of which I have never grown. Having access to these new varieties will allow me to create much more dynamic/complex flavors and allow me to not spend an arm and a leg to provide seeds for greater acerage. Seeds are expensive (@ $5.99 for 10 seeds). That being said, @Pattypan01 sent me thousands of seeds (4 varieties) that should have decent germ rates. That’s a huge help! (Thanks again, good Sir)
And if y’all are serious about helping me realize my dream, let me know what you want and how best I can return the favor and show gratitude. If/when this does become a more organized effort to fund me, we may want to start a new thread altogether (and change the name of this one) so that people don’t have to dig for the goods (plus get to avoid a bit of the lingering echoes). Donation or tiered reward system then also can be linked at the top instead of somewhere buried in the thread.
And no worries @Demontrich. Nothing but love for all y’all.
And @anon16547145, if you’re still in town tomorrow, hit me up and I’ll bring you some of my latest experimentations.

I think some pre-orders for some sauce makes sense. Maybe get a couple casks and age some for higher tiers. Top donators get a new bottle of sauce every 2 months for the next couple years
