Affordable and efficient gummy machine

What is the best and most affordable gummy machine you guys have come across?

I’ve seen them range from 5k-15k and I know they can go much higher.

Does anyone own a gummy machine and can provide input on what works for them? We’re looking for a machine, with our budget being around 10-15k for a complete setup. I’m not sure if this is possible, so please chime in

Do you need an automated solution or are you ok with using labor to do the work at scale?

We’re open to any solution.

As long as you have a set of hands to go along with these.

We’re looking for something a little more efficient than bottle pouring. How many can you do an hour like this?

That depends on the goon doing the job. Im fairly quick at this, 1200 to 1500.

Wow that’s actually pretty good numbers compared to what I was expecting. How long have you been doing it this way? You may have convinced us

We get 14000 done in a day with 2 people working. For a long time now.

we dont use this but I think a few members do.

i think with my x2 - 2 gallon hot plates i can get about 3000 done an hour with 1 person.

This cost me around $1000 for the 2 hot plates. You will still need a few food racks and molds. I suspect you can easily get 20k done in a 8 hour day for about $2k and labor

I would suggest using something other than a hot plate to do the final mixing.

Someone posted a heated blender awhile back. Seems like a possible solution

This is for the 2 parts in my mix. The ingredients are still hand mixed/ flavored/ colored by hand

Looked into this for a VERY long time. Alibaba has some manual tester depositor machines for like 2-5k. I think they are as basic as a large heated hopper/mixer on top with a manual dispensing unit.

load gummy mould > pull lever > then continue the cycle until you run out of moulds. I think they are basically like the one posted above. Haven’t tried them so definitely do your due diligence before purchasing anything but this could be an option.

Lol i just imagined like 50 Tees with two check valves and mini heated syringes with springs to redraw after being pushed down.

Check valve Tee would look like this. Just need a manifold with 50 lines going to a resivour. And a plate that presses and retracts onto the syringes.

Wooks job would look like this:
Place 50 tray mold underneath into its slot, press foot pedal, transfer to conveyor line and repeat.
5 seconds tops. 600 per minute? 36,000 per hour?

Would make it stupid proof, just cleaning would be a pain.

What’s the best way to remove the gummies out of the mold? I’ve seen the trufflymade for $2500 but it only does their shape molds.

Any input on demolders?

Try your left and right hands. They are more efficient than you obviously think. :man_shrugging:

Haha you’re right I underestimated the hands. We just did a batch and it went smooth, but found removing the gummies the hardest part.

Just looking for the most efficient way to remove them. Thanks for everything so far you guys rock
