Advice on heating tape

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone had recommendations on heating tape besides Briskheat heaters. It’s too bulky(thick) and difficult to wrap. It also doesn’t make keeping a temperature sensor in place easy. Any advice on either better products OR ways to make the Briskheat tapes work for cart filling would be greatly appreciated!

Is it difficult to remove when breaking down?

Yes and no. It will change how you clean, but if it is just on the middle strip of your feed line, you can unwrap the top and bottom disconnect the feed line from the quick connects

Will you be bringing the orange cart farm heating tapes back any time soon?

Tube in tube liquid jacket is the way to go, way happier than we were with heat tape. We use a jacketed spool as a reservoir and run hot water from a bucket heated by sous vide through the jacket and then down the outside of the hose before returning to the bucket. Only downside is if you stop filling you have to heat gun the inlet check valve because the syringe itself isn’t heated

Interesting, does that require a pump?

Yes. We use a submersible that we stole from our aero cloners but they keep burning up lol. I’m going to switch over to a Grundfos UPS-16
