Ya I am not going to hold my breath and expect it before. He made a long statement last night saying that he’s still aiming for Xmas, but I doubt it.

Has anyone here tried the SiC cup for the Sai or Sequoia?

Such a long explanation…

It either rips or it doesn’t.

You either have it in your hands by Christmas or you don’t.

The verdict is only shitty companies accept fronts from their customers. AVS is the worst company in this space.

It doesn’t matter how good the tech is, they have people who fronted them for half a year to recieve their items and get told a new version already got released and the price for new customers drops in half

Absolute garbage

Thank you…

LOL if they didn’t take peoples money for pre-orders this tech wouldn’t have got off the ground anytime soon. Nothing I mean nothing compares to the ESCC.
Yep I have the Puffco peak Pro and not even in the same league. Until another company copies the tech and comes out with a better energized SIC crucible AVS will rule this space.
BTW they are very clear that any customer can get a full refund for a pre-order product at anytime.

the divine tribe v5 looks interesting, it’s got a heated crucible with replaceable inserts

I will be keeping an eye out for that one once released.
For taste I like quartz and SIC the best.
IMHO not fact order for taste ONLY:
1-Quartz
2-SIC
3-Ceramic
4-Titanium

The DT SIC is just heated from the bottom where as the AVS the entire cup is energized. Sides are just as hot as the bottom.
I tried a SIC bucket and I did not care for the taste as much as the energized SIC. Not sure if it was the brand or what. It was a SIC dish that dropped into a banger.
If not for QMA starting this thread I may have looked past the AVS SIC.

Yes this may currently be the best waxpen but the fact remains that technology is separate from the company. There is no bubbler for that amazing technology that fits its size. If I wanted a desktop rig I would have bought an enail and called it a day. If I wanted a refund I wouldn’t have purchased in the first place. A bubbler is not a complex piece of equipment. It’s already been sized. I have a feeling these bubblers are crawling across the pacific in a cargo ship container .

You may have missed it but I know I linked this Longmada Motar bubbler and mentioned it fits the AVS. It is only $15 shipped. Actually with recent coupon its only $13.50 shipped. Not quite as large as the AVS bubbler but works awesome

That’s basically admitting defeat

Found a ton of bubblers that will fit. Looks like most are open top too. Gonna order a few of these to test out:

This bubbler lasted 30 minutes before breaking. Even if it didnt, it is impossible to clean. 1/10 bubbler, would not dab again

You could probably get soxhlet to machine a 14mm top cap so you can use the hydrotubes?

I REFUSE to use hydro tubes. Thats the lamest thing I can think of in the world of waterpipes

idk, I mean, dabcaps exist

I been using mine daily for about 3 months now. Cleaned it about a dozen times so far.
As with all my glass I fill with a little alcohol and nuke for 10-20 seconds and the resin melts. They are a PITA to empty the water/alcohol out when cleaning.
I used to use coarse salt for years until I realized if I just heated the alcohol you don’t need to waste your time with coarse salt.
