Advanced Vape Supply Customer Service Sucks!

I got my partial refund, but unfortunately never got a reciept mailed after purchase so pretty uncertain if it was the full amount. What a shitty ride, learned my lesson on reddit hype brands. Great idea, poor execution

I’ll 100% go with dvt when I decide to get one again. Avs posted a video of himself hiking or something and he just looked ragged af. Cheeks sunk in and scrawny. Dude needs to eat more cheeseburgers and stop whatever else is going on

Got myself a dvt v4 with a polished sic cup.

After a couple of weeks, I like it much more than the m22. Less shit to worry about, yes it doesn’t heat up in ten seconds, but I’m still done with a dab in under a minute.

Even just the quartz cup works like a beast too tbh.

I’m excited to try the v5 when it’s available.

Fuck AVS, their escc shit is more hype than reality even when you have it in your hands.

I think I first purchased in '13, so I’ll be first in line for the v5 it looks like

Looks like Matt is gonna start the orders today.

I have to wait until Monday, hopefully they’ll be some in stock still.

The M22 is still not being delivered, too. They are still taking them on preorder. Almost a year after the “release” like a dozen or so people have one.

Lmao, what a joke.

I saw the other day there new estimate was ‘summer’

Funny how easy it is for another company to have a smooth rollout of beta hardware…

I’d be seriously surprised if avs every really does get to a point where they won’t have serious supply issues. Shits gonna be eternally in beta so they’ll have their lame ass excuses to fall back on.

this must be some ponzi scheme or something… dude is talking releasing to customers in 2014… I bet some people die waiting for this guy to fulfill orders…

This is the other company doing that. Divine tribe.

There about to release a new version of their device, and instead of just letting anyone order and not having enough stock, dvt is using customer history to make sure the rollout is smooth.

They only have 360 total for now, so that’s why he’s doing it that way.

I ordered something from him in 2019, so I’ll be able to send a request this coming Monday.

Here’s the link for the v5 fyi.

Looks sweet af.

LOL 2/3 of Americans ore overweight or obese. I believe like 36% are obese. Just because he doesn’t look like the rest of the fatties in this country doesn’t mean he is doing hard drugs. Don’t know him personally so he could be a crackhead for all I know.
BTW I love my M22. Nothing out at the moment compares to the ESCC.

You don’t get resistance creep at all?

No matter what, and I know I was installing the clips correctly, my cup would creep up until tc didn’t work anymore.

Seems there a luck of the draw if you get a good one or not. If you did, the thing is probably sweet.

For me, it was too much of a pain in the ass, then to top it off their shady excuses for the crazy delays made it so I won’t mess with them again.

My v4 works well enough, was a ton cheaper, and has been trouble free since I got it.

Absolutely stoked for the v5 and will never deal with avs again.

I bought a divine tribe in 2018… there are FOUR years of people ahead of me lmfaoooo

You have to change out the gold clips

I did, I changed them more than a few times. Tried the way avs recommended, tried the way the subreddit told me to as well. Same behavior no matter what I tried.

Pretty sure I messed with it so much the plating got dinged up enough on the legs to fuck it up too.

At this point I just gave up on it. I’d rather support a company with better customer service.

pulled the trigger. Kinda sucks the v1 doesn’t work with the hyperion inserts, but he said he’ll mail out a new batch of heaters that fit 'em when they come in. I’m definitely considering a hyperion too if the v5 works well with it, the inter-compatibility of it all is pretty neat

I hope they’ll be some left over Monday. I have to wait for the 2019 bunch.

so far the v5 is solid, definitely hits way harder than the v4. I think the increased power and heated sidewalls help with that a lot, I can fit 2-3x what I fit in the SiC V4(and actually vape it all), but I’m sure that’ll go down once I add an insert. Mine doesn’t fit my v4 banger so I’ll have to order a new one, I’ll probably buy another extension cable too.

petty complaints:
I don’t like the knurling or the base being smaller than the body of the cap
I like having a notched base to be able to use my little wrench or some other tool to grab/turn when it’s stuck to the mod

I’d also like to know more about the ceramic/glaze

I only get creep over time when I overload and get resin on the legs. You do have to change the clips every 50-100 loads but not a biggie for me. I have the original ESCC in wattage only and the V2 that is larger in wattage only. Both work in my Vaporesso Gen X in temp control mode. They are shipping my temp control version ESCC and extension cable this week. I was told they would ship me a beta mod control tower soon and the production version when ready.

That’s awesome man, I do wish I could have gotten mine going.

I hated the customer service, but the idea is neat.

Picked up the v5 this morning, stoked to give it a try.

Got my v5 yesterday.

Rips so far, got the new bb just in case I had the same problem, and grabbed the new carb cap too. Really like the design of the cap, it’s the perfect depth inside the dish to stir things around really well. The glass is a little thin tho.

New bb is better quality as well compared to my other one. Do wish the deck had the notches like the v4.

Also wonder about the ceramic, being optimistic about it.
