Which ever one, make sure it works or else you will kill the 1400. It’s best to use a diaphram vacuum pump. It it accidentally ingests ethanol, it’s not a big deal. Suck ethanol into a 1400 amd that’s bad news.

The diaphram vacuum pump is for the rotovap. The Welch 1400 is for the spd.
