Adding flavor to water soluble CBD products

So i’ve got a formula for water soluble CBD that involves using Polysorbate and Lecithin for the process. I’ve not made any yet, but am curious about adding flavor. Is it as straightforward as mixing it in after the fact, or does that mess with the chemistry? Does it all depend on how/what you flavor it with? Are certain flavors more popular with manufacturers because they are easier to make? Or maybe easier to do because of the existing taste of the product?

people will correct if i am wrong but i believe it depends on what type of emulsion you are doing . if its oil in water or water encapsulated inside oil. then you need to find out the solubility of your flavoring. if its oil i would add it to my distillate or isolate mixture.

I’m curious about your tek, was trying solve with old water solubility problem about 6 months ago and ended up not really having a market for it so went with other things
Could never get past needing a high shear emulsifier lol

Sorry can’t offer any insight into your question

Your flavor will reside mostly in the aqueous phase. You might want to start with distilled water and add whatever flavors you want to add to it. Once you’ve this solution ready, treat this solution just as plain water and proceed with the protocol you’ve at hand to make the emulsion.
