just go for 1/2. the cost difference is minimal.

Thanks guys for the feedback, and GPM chart.

I have the 1/2" and braided hoses. Looks like many are going for rubber hoses these days.

For vapor the “rubber” ones are “fine”. But, I would stick with the braided hoses, and replace with hard-line where possible. Migrate over to compression fittings as you go and get away from using (having to replace) tape.
