General scope: This is the conversion method using oxone but with the reaction conditions optimized for much higher throughput than what you would get by scaling the methods in published paper or patents (fyi, some of the patented methods don’t actually work). Also, the workup is much different than existing publications. Molecular yield of the oxone method is about 50%. If you wanted to produce about 20kg/mo you would need to buy about $100k of lab equipment (new equipment price) but if you have a cannabis or hemp lab sitting around collecting dust, you might already have most of the equipment already (ie, reactors, rotovaps etc).
