I’m having a difficult time finding 3" x 24" socks for my 1lb column. Anyone have any info on them? I asked a few people and they had never seen them in that size. Do they not come in that particular size anywhere??
Just use a 4” and dont stuff it
What brand do you recommend? I’m in the market for a few 4x48s
They seem to all be the same, cost and micron size is really the only difference. I get mine from a bio diesel company when i do use them, i don’t very much but that’s where mine are from
I’ve seen 3" before and now I can’t find them either, time to get creative
I have 3x36 column
You could use a 4" sock packed in 3" pvc, make a bunch n freeze em
This is what I’m gonna try, maybe use 24" socks , 2 in a column might be easier to manage
Or just modify a 4" if you know someone who sews
Azpressco is where i got mine
Ill have to check my emails, the company is knight something and they were 4 and change if you got 50 or so.
Could you use 2 x (3x12)?
I don’t see why 2 (3x12) socks wouldnt work unless someone knows otherwise. Much appreciated.
anyone got a hook up on these? I need some for my molsieve column.
Dm corlee valve fitting on ig. That’s where i go now
Fuck that’s genius.
Like a finer filter sock for beads would be slick!
lol love that meme! Thats the real tek right there i just use regular 100 micron socks that i got a long ass time ago for my beads but they have holes so ive been trying to find some new ones. Ill check out corlee thanks @Idab916
It is most definitely extremely handy
I changed the orientation of the ets mol sieve and drooped a sock in there, too.
I just had my 4” ones sewn by someone, also makes it easier to fit into columns with a 1/4” folded over. They work great in the mol sieve also
Only place I’ve found 3 inch socks is ETS so far. Tell them you want the socks for the 1300. They have 3x24 and 3x36.
