Figured I’d start a fresh community thread for 2026 to share what everyone’s building, testing, or experimenting with in extraction and solvent recovery.
Lots of new tech popping up lately, and it’d be good to have a single place where people can drop updates, prototypes, ideas, and pics.
To get things going, here’s a look at something we’ve been working on in our shop — a 3D‑printed (SLM) gyroid heat exchanger design we’ve been developing for thermal management applications.
I’ll drop a picture in the thread. Curious what everyone else is working on or excited about this year.
Looking forward to seeing what the community is building.
About 10lbs/min but they ran out of heating KW so we couldn’t push it faster. Chilling was a -80 500L Chinese chiller I didn’t get the specs before leaving. Not bad for a 6” x 12” heat exchanger that weighs only 50lbs!
This is why I want to play with one of these units on my system… Heat is only limited by the compressor size and we have used some big ass compressors!
The 791 we can push 70lbs a minute of 70/30 propane heavy blend - not a typo!…
I love how quiet passive is… but its just not my thing. I am happy with some noise to make waves.
I VERY much want to play with one of these units with what I am working on with our patented compressor based tech!
I absolutely love this development and all the work you had to have put into it to make something no one else thought of… FKN Kudos my dudes! My hat is off to you!
Patent Pending!
Currently working on 3 designs -
Solvent Recovery - Cannabis/Hemp
Reflux Condenser - spirits
Liquid to liquid exchange for motorsports - oil, trans, and hydro cooling
I personally think we could get rid of some costs ourselves with a couple of these on our units… Love some collaboration! VERY excited to see what we can make happen together!
I’m interested in the application of one of these for a maple syrup evaporator. I am in the maple business as well as cannabis and I see room for improvement.
They are being manufactured by a trusted partner, we receive the main bodies and we weld the ferrules or flanges, we weld the backing plate on, and we weld the vacuum nipple for the vacuum jacket.
