Most hydroxys are marketed as THC-X if you’ve seen those,I’d rather inhale hotdogwater anyday. Just cause it CAN be made from D8 doesn’t inherently mean THEIRS is. With everything going on in the farm bill, I’d venture they are either clearing house as quick as possible OR are yielding this from a non canna plant (canna/hemp) thereby skirting the farm bill amendments. Just a foil hat theory - but perhaps valid still!
Okay, thank you for letting me know!!
Actually none of these companies that sell it are actually selling 11 hydroxy. 3chi is the only company that has a COA for it. The rest sell fake shit
I agree - but in his defense, pretty much no one is referring to the orcinol series when they say “THCO.” Scouring this entire site, you might see 5 mentions of the 1 carbon homologues. It just a little esoteric until someone goes and makes a bunch of it I guess. Misnomer or not, most folks here know THC-OAc as “THCO.”
As we see more and more different cannabinoids pop up its definitely important to start using the right terminology though
We gotta start somewhere
I would never smoke that synthetic THC Acetate poison! I only smoke natural hemp derived THCo live rosin.
More like rhododendron derived
THCO/THC-C1 is a cool cannabinoid. The effects of “mad honey” are usually attributed to grayanotoxins but since THCO is also present in the flowers that make mad honey, it could also play a role in the pharmacology. Mad honey is traditionally used as an analgesic, and THCO is supposedly a stronger calcium channel blocker then THC (even though it’s said to be not psychoactive.)
Is 11 hydroxy isolate or resin ? Any vendors on it ?
Where can I get liver enzymes to do the conversion? Does anyone have a line on bulk rat livers? How fresh do they have to be?
i’d assume that’s done with a GM yeast
Pretending to know what I’m talking about here, but 11-hydroxy-THC is probably the only cannabinoid that makes sense to synthesis via genetically modified yeast right now
