All of the above. Canāt have particulates in the wiper. So going INTO the wiper needs filtered IMO.

how would you approach answering that question?
What size are powdery mildew spores?
Can you see them with the naked eye?
WTF do they look like when magnified?

I would have to second the inclination that it is ādirtā likely silts and clays. Magnification could give you an indication of this visually (cheaper than testing). Filtration to 1um I would argue should be standard SOP. If its biomass from outdoor Iāve seen varying levels of silt and clay in outdoor biomass. Depending on how low to the ground the bottom branches are, simple rainfall will coat leaves and flower with fine soil particulate. Is it a heavy clay soil? I canāt imagine the cost of filtration outweighs the loss of efficiency and damage to equipment that allowing this type of material into your distillation equipment causes. That level of additional filtration will certainly guarantee you a superior end product regardless of what the particulate actually is.
