Maybe in Oregon where D8 slabs are prevelant at this point
I can get 4k a liter for d8 over 95% all day and thats selling 30 at a time even lol

Im a whore im at 1800. And yes. When you leave d8 in the oven for an extended amount of time it darkens it.

Can you share the chromatograms?
Here is an overlay of the d8 sample and and a standard run. Pink is the d8 sample, black is the 50ppm standard.
There is definitely a shoulder to the d8, so there is some d9 there, but the methods I tried didn’t help with the quantitation (including running at a higher concentration)

Thanks! You are getting really close but I think that would still pop on GC. Is this Shimadzu high sensitivity method?
I haven’t ran it on a gc so I can’t say for sure if the gc will actually quantify it or not. I’d be interested in seeing. I also can’t say I’ve seen a d8 sample anywhere that doesn’t have that slight peak
