Sure. The lid is optional if you dont mind a little dust. I have used an embroidiery hoop meant for sewing to hold the screen material if it is not rigid enough by itself, then glue the hoop into the bucket.

Shit I always just used a bubble bag over the top of the 5 gallon bucket, it acts as a lid and fits super snug since thats what they’re made for. No bucket modification or glueing required.

This Is how I did my di kief. Shook over a 4x6 mirror (Hollywood rails, lol), 120micron bag. Dont Haskell too long or you’ll get biomass vs kief.
Load into 25iu rosin bags, and press.
