Let’s say that it is fully decarbed, just for entertainment purposes. But, what about the thca still in my HT?

That’s the culprit. I know for a fact its THCa foaming when heated. I had the same problem a year and a half ago. You can do a very light decarb on your HTE. Use a short path and decarb at low temp for an extended period of time. Use a cold trap or a few of them to capture any terps you distill off. Then reintroduce your terpenes to your extract.

That’s good! But if it does become a problem. That’s the best way I’ve found to fix it.

Strangely, unpredictable though. Even though I’m pretty sure I could intentionally make it happen. But knowing it’s going to happen is different.
