mol sieve is not the way… MUCH better solutions are avail…
…Like our Hydrophobic hydrocarbon filter…
It might not be listed on the website but give us a call / email and we will get it over.

ROFLMFAO… yeah I know.
Edit: At this point I feel everyone can have the data since we have the patent on the tech. Evolution of the world & physics / thermodynamics. =)
I have literally turned refrigeration up-side down.
Instead of needing MORE POWER to get LESS COOLING kw.
I get MORE COOLING kw with LESS POWER consumption.

Very interesting. I regularly perform wiped film distillation and have tweaked vaporization temps and condensing temps quite a bit. In a distillation with multiple staged condensers at decreasing temperatures there is significant change in what gets condensed at which stage. So that’s strange to me that propane and volatiles cannot be condensed to isolate fractions. Though I guess the difference is fractioning volatiles in wiped film vs trying to separate terps from propane after they vaporize as one. Hmmm.
Membranes sound promising, anyone with leads to proven products, please let me know. If the membrane was inside the collection vessel blocking terps it would be easy to rinse back into solution as well, or flush backward with nitrogen after recovery. Though I’m also convinced nitrogen carries terps too… that’s another can of worms.
I am not well read in chemistry and have the basics of physics. Most of my understanding is from training in the industry, r&d and taking notes, and assumptions through experiences. I appreciate everyone filling in the gaps with science.
Like molecules find a boiling / condensation point in between the mole ratio of the two components… like how adding cannabinoids to solvent increases the required heat to boil at the same rate. Or like trying to isolate d8, d9, and cbd via distillation only.
If you test your heads fraction you will find thc in it (distilling BELOW its boiling point at pressure).
Only my refined water clear terpenes were 0% cannabinoids.
Ya, I see. I don’t expect isolation of compounds or 100% perfect results, just looking for a second layer of preventing terp loss.
If I have the bottom section of collection at low temp, say 50°f, and the top section at 90°f would volatiles and cannabinoids condense in the bottom area or is the solution staying mixed evenly until the end of recovery? Looking at the other side of it, before vaporization, can we attract the goods somewhere safe before recovering?
Got to admit this is a masterpiece

Heads fraqtion of cannabinoid distillation I asume
NOT the head fraqtion of propane distillation correct ?
Listen however you look at it what we are doing is distillation no matter the temperature
Fractional distillation is enhanced by a vigreau and slow recovery
Please do not underestimate this tech
I personally had the same questions
In the past and let my recovery (active) pass treu a coil that had a lower temp then my pot so -5C pot collection treu coil -18C to recovery unit to solvent tank
It helps but since I went larger on the system I can now keep collection pot at -18 C and recover sufficient with the recovery unit wich is actually undersized at the moment
Speak for yourself
. This is all Pchem to me.
If it squirms, it’s biology. If it stinks, it’s chemistry. If it doesn’t work, it’s physics.…and if you can’t understand it, it’s mathematics
Yeah talking about a spd heads fraction. Fine terpenes come over up to 90c typically, but you start seeing cannabinoids right about this mark. I have ran just about every sample I could think of through my GC to figure out what is really going on with all of my processes.
LOL… but when you really break it down, chemistry / physical chem is just another layer of physics as chemical phenomena are ultimately driven by the behavior of atoms and their subatomic particles, which are governed by physical laws like electromagnetism and quantum mechanics. Same same - but different. ![]()
Mostly true… mathematics is the “glue” that binds each of the lower classes together both individually and as a group. None can exist without mathematics so it is really a part of them all. Even with the lowest classes you are considering percentages of probability.

Are you going to be at mj biz?
We have a booth #4031 but I myself will not be there. I believe I will be on a training around then. Still recovering from a torn hip labrum so I am trying to avoid walking too much so as to not aggravate the injury.
Its going to be a hot booth! Got some really cool stuff to show off with The Original Resinator. Ran 100lbs of live bio into 22lb of cryo sift then extracted into live resin with my system last week. Works great. Unlimited solvent so we just extracted for 2 hours and doubled the amount the machine should run since it doesn’t get taken apart all the time. Got about an 8% yield (bio) from a 4:1 ratio. Absolute fire.
