both were used for isolation only no pest remediation. The isolera has been used lot more than the selekt. Have a bunch of extras that will go with them also
On all of the Chemtech units i’ve run, I’ve only killed 3 Julabos. The deaths were usually caused by oxidized muddy fluids. These baths are generally great for what they do and will easily last longer than 5 years with constant, correct use.
As far as replacing all the baths, I don’t think it’s a great idea since you could probably buy a used wiped film unit for the cost of all the new baths. You’d be looking at a one or two ECO4 units, one PX5 unit, two condenser units, and then all the fittings (swagelok usually, which are expensive af). We got your back when they start failing though.
