Tired of your lab appeasing / playing you?

Thanks, I have one of my scientists looking into Δ10.

We can accept samples from anywhere. We’re licensed to handle scheduled drugs, so it shouldn’t be an issue as long as you can get it to us.

And thanks for the compliment. Our team came from adjacent regulated industries lab testing, so we’ve incorporated the same quality controls that are commonplace in dietary supplements, pharma, and sports anti-doping.

Cannabis testing definitely has its issues (mainly dry-labbing and false-negatives in my opinion), but so do those other industries.

We accept samples via USPS and UPS from California, Colorado, Michigan, etc.

I can give you our license to attach to the shipment if necessary.

That is because Pixis is first and foremost a true analytical lab (columbia labs) before they were a cannabis testing facility.

They are the only lab we have found that is consistent and trustworthy. They also can accurately determine minors very well.

One thing to note though is they do NOT test for delta 10 so this will probably show up as CBC.

What do you mean by “true analytical lab?” A cannabis testing facility is still a “true analytical lab” if they perform chemistry onsite with validated methods controlling for precision, accuracy, completeness, representativeness, and comparability.

As I mentioned above, all of our scientists have many years of experience in adjacent industries and I would hope any other lab employs experienced scientists, too. The industry isn’t all that old, so if you have scientists with 10+ years experience they worked in other industries.

If their data is accurate then they should be able to ensure CBC is actually CBC.

Should being the operative word here.

There is certainly precedent on labs miscalling Δ10 as CBC

What I mean by that statement is that the majority of labs testing cannabis are only testing cannabis and did it as a new venture to make money and were not established before this industry became “legal.”
Starting a new analytical lab is much harder to nail than taking an already existing lab with sops and protocols in place to ensure accuracy and repeatability.

Keep in mind you did label this thread “is your lab playing you.” which insinuates this isnt uncommon.

Im not saying this is you but it is the majority of labs in this industry. If you dont believe me then you havent sent many samples out to labs to be tested.

kcalabs do you have a reference standard for delta 10? If i was to send you my oil would you be able to tell me if i have delta 10 or cbc?

For sure, I’ve definitely seen my fair share of other labs’ COAs and first hand accounts from clients.

My scientists can source Δ10 and test for it. Looks like the lead time is a week to get it in.

Email us at trustedresults@kcalabs.com if you want us to get an account set up for you.

D10 and CBN -d I would recomend as missing cannabinoids in that list
You should be able to get them
D10 is important to us
Cbn-d will become important to us :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We’ll do whatever the market demands…and pays for, of course. Some of you are obviously ahead of the pack. We’d like to be the lab counterpart for the innovators.
