I personally donā€™t find those side effects with the V.
Head rush, slight euphoric, flirty vibes buzz.
Appetite suppression, clear energy lasts very long.
No crash. Good sleep. Wake up with energy.
Dabbing pure cbn gets me right at that ledge of paranoia but not paranoid.
Mixing in the CBC gets the lock up.
Still too early for a legit protocol and Denver last weekend was out till 6am every night and the V was a champ.

But also: Iā€™ve seen a THCV booth at trade shows multiple times. Seemed pretty confident in trying to corner that market the past few years. Doug Varin.

Cultivation for sure
Synthetic for sure
But what isomerization options are there?
Is this a cannabinoid that once famous would be easy to synthesize?

If THC is a cb1 agonist and causes euphoria and THCv is a antagonist to CB1, of course youā€™d expect it be not pleasant.

CB1 antagonists have been tried clinically and lead to dysphoria and unpleasant effects in most.

It cannot be converted from the common pentyl cannabinoids

Selectively cleaving carbons can not be done efficiently in practice.

It has to be a full work up starting with propyl homologue of olivetolic acid

So first crystelize thc-a then
Distill first pass then distill
Thcv in tails on second pass
Get crystelization gooing
Something like that correct ?

Iā€™ve seen indications that itā€™s a crystalline solid but those havenā€™t been proven so itā€™s up in the air on its lattice forms.

Thcva will crash out with THCA , there would be no way to separate them without chromatography

Being a smaller molecule, THCV boiling point should be lower then THC, so idk why it would be in tails?

Picture is cool, but that could be anything:

  • COA?

  • Synthesized or Cannabis derived?

  • D9-THCV or D8-THCV(most easily converted from CBDV)?

We have some 99%+ going out to Proverde for testing next week.

Should be pretty close to clear at 99% potency, what is causing the dark color?

We donā€™t know if Thcva would crystallize. It likely would and crash out with the THCA?

Conversion from CBDV makes the most since right now, thereā€™s a few companies with reported CBDV isolates

Yet when discussing with another member (chemist) he taught it was wrong and I started doubting I mixed up the flasks
