Solventless Terpene Extraction

So, I’ve seen some odd-ended forum posts and some instagram posts about solventless tepene extraction that doesn’t involve steam distillation. Are people using roto-vaps or something? I know you can make rosin and separate terps that way, the pictures I see are usually perfectly clear though? What type of wizardry is this?

Rotovap Terpene Extraction

I’ve been thinking about terpene extraction recently and am wondering if it’d be possible to load a rotovap with dry veg material as a way to extract terpenes. Has anyone tried this?

Terpene Distillation Kits

Long story short - I’m getting rid of my Co2 extractor and have put a deposit down on one of Delta Separation’s Cup Series. Unfortunately, that also means I need to look for an alternative method for extracting terps which has lead me here… Most of my resources have directed me to looking into a Terpene Distillation Kit but am having a difficult time finding folks currently utilizing a kit.
