Most definitely, I have that xray vision lol I see all in my room lol, I just don’t see the tells of mites, I can see a yellow discoloration in the whole leaves leading me to think something in the water
Yeah @natesaysdoless we need more info, whats ur room temp, rh and are they on a cold floor or lifted off the floor. Whats ur watering schedule, what size pots, are u growing in soil or cubes?
What nutes are u using?
Try a compost tea and see if that revives anything, id do a foliar to get it into ur plant asap. And the left overs u can soil drench it
This happened to me awhile ago but could be nitro deficiency - they taco-ed in the other direction when trying a tester strain - everything else in the room loved the N level but those couldn’t fucking stand it. Personally i’ve noticed that if you have mites you’ll see the leaf-dotting before you notice huge damages or taco-ing THEN you’ll get the physical damage.
Also the slight bleaching of the leaves is a sign to me as bad N levels makes the plants sort of yellow early. If it truly is N deficiency you’ll notice leaves wilting and eventually eating themselves for nutes. FUCKING METAL.
Were just going with the easiest answer and i think bugs should always be the first thing u look at, unless youve been buying all ur nutes in a bottle at the store
Light/Heat Stress was the first thing that comes to mind for me. I experienced almost the exact symptoms when I brought in some new more intense lighting. When I raised the lights the problem was solved
I second heat stress.
FUCK I CAN’T BELIEVE I DIDN’T THINK OF THIS.
If you’re running LEDs and it’s very early in flower (almost even late veg - which it looks like it is) be sure to turn your fixtures down to like 25%, you may be stressing out new ladies with too much UV. I’m new to LEDs myself but actually had this happen for a day or two my last run because I blasted them at 100 percent right off the rip - turned it down to 25 percent and it bounced back in a few days.
Especially given foliar times
If it gets worse and the leaves start browning around the edges, the damaged area will smell like cooked spinach.
With LEDs the closer the better and most of the time u gotta dim, another thing people forget about is it doesnr give off heat like the hps do, sometimes peoples rooms get too cold when switching from hps to led
I can tell you it took some adjustment for me, that’s for sure but once you get it you get it. I still like to leave a few old-schools in there to keep temps up though for the co2 generator
That’s some wildly specific information!
The hottest I’ve seen on led is a 4K gavita, right off the light 3-4 “ is 125-135f then about 12-18” below the temp range is more so in the 80’s.
All of mine are very cool running, & I can have then about 2-4” off canopy without burn.
Then I must have gotten screwed when I switched from 4x315cmh air cooled to 3x gavita pro 1700e. The heat was 10000% out of controll.
If I didn’t have all the lights I do I wouldn’t be able to keep the tent so relative to it’s temp. Without plants in there it gets about 85f but with them in it I stay at 75-78f.
Oh wait, I did get screwed. When I lost 260.00 x 3 when I flipped the gavitas for 1k each. This is why I need to stop listening to grown ppl and just make work what’s been working for 10yrs.
Air cooled vs non is like comparing apples and oranges. It’s just different. I’m buying 2 gavita 1930’s here soon to play around with
Hope you have your cooling in check.
Even 2x gavita pro 1700e was too fn hot.
Oh yeah. I’m gonna replace 2 of my 1000 watt lights with 2 1930’s
I’m just weirded out by the 4x6 foot print. I use mine on a 4x4
Heat stress, mites, root zone/room humidity imbalance.
Default stupid answer- make sure your pH is 5.5-6.5 in the root zone.
