Solvent tanks

It’s got the 6" opening. You can get them from purge labs for 6500 plus tax. I think they have one left right now. This one I got from a friend.

shipping costs make resales of products like this not make sense/ Im called a cop here but one of the first actions was buying a bulk lot of stainless. It costed like 200 in shipping, and add that up over and over and its more than the steel itself. I have yet to use the 6 inch jacketed columns because my setup is 4 or 3 or 12. i got thm becaause its a buk deal and my imagination i can use a 6 inch. If i believed for one second that anyone like dickle or hanson thought I was a real cop id refer that guy who sold me the steel.

im scared of triclamps and hydrocarbon storage? What type gasket is most reliable in that application? Im not about to have a stainless storage tank but i got like 5 kinds of gasket. WIth a triclamp tank do any of you have experience of showing up ready to do a run and it all leaked out?

If you guys buy them by the liter weight. It’s about the actual weight of butane. So like @Rainbowp3nis said. A 300l tank holds about 300lbs of gas.

I almost make this mistake ordering some 200lb solvent tanks. The buyer said they need 200lbs of gas. Since XD and others use water weight. So we assumed we needed double and almost ordered a 400L tank. We started doing the math and realized it would hold 395lbs of gas.

$6500 plus tax is a great price on these. For the ones I just sold. I charged $5500 plus shipping which isn’t much cheaper. But we were able to make it in any configuration.

What size did u sell for 5500

250L tank but the difference in pricing isn’t very much from 150L to 400L.

They were fully jacketed tanks with internal chilling coils and normal NPT tops so they could be converted to collection tanks…

if dickle would allow pms itd keep all of my problems with him out of threads.I got gaskets in a bulk purchase- I am used to buna flange gaskets but now i have white hard ones i think are silicone with a rubber center, grey hard ones I think are tuff steel and blue hard ones ones im not sure. Anyone have advice on what the gaskets are based on color and them being hard? Im sure they are all suitable but some may be less so in cold temps? Also need to know if i can clean them with alcohol or not, i have the compatability chart but dont know the gaskets and the seller didnt run the equipment.

Those sound like ptfe envelope gaskets, not silicone.

is tuffsteel grey or blue? silicone would be soft I presume so I got two colors unknown hard blue and hard grey.

Tuffsteel is both grey and blue I think.

The grey is the normal kind, the blue has something else added to it to make it detectable for xray or some shit.

Off topic, you need to just call a truce with fickle, he’s trying to stop, you should too man. Fwiw, I don’t think you’re a cop.

nobody ever thought I was a cop. it was a dumb joke similar to hansels buttt jokes but its really wrong to do on a pot forum. its like calling someone a nazi in a Synagogue.
