Soo this is them today at like day 10/11ish from harvest/extraction to this.
So in theorie I can use this lil ladies as seeds? The biggest ones at least.
Collect all my other Thc-a sand/crystaline dissolve in pentane/heptane or other solvent, at the right level of saturation drop in a seed en try to grow it bigger?

Also does anyone now how trichome color effects extracts? Got a red/purple strain with even some of the trichomes ending up red😂

You can use butane to re x like I posted above, and it works amazingly, in a diamond miner, I’m not sure how you would dissolve it in a jar without a catastrophe using butane.
I didn’t go over 120f to redisolve, did leave some undissolved but I did crush to a powder first, it was just the larger pieces that didn’t break up that didn’t redissolve, they acted as seeds, but the clear pretty ones started where there was no seed, the seeds made foggy crystals.
Then lowered my temp to 72f and 4 says later I had large crystals started, once you see no more growth you can increase the temp, or burp off some butane.
Plus it might teach you some valuable experience with butane saturation levels.
Once I get it more dialed I got a feeling it’s going to create some fascinating facets.
The main purpose of using butane for ReX is to not taint the terpene fraction. If you dial in your process you may be able to ReX faster with butane than other higher boiling point solvents like pentane and heptane as well
I don’t think I would try a butane Re x with a propane mixture of any amount, in a jar, if you could put in in some sort of stainless vessel like your honeypot, use that to safley heat it to dissolve, cool it down then pour into a jar, that would make it less sketchy…
But heat a jar and propane are not going to go well in my opinion.
During redissolve of thca my miner hit 30 psi, and I had to shake it alot. .
For you it may be safer to do a pentane because it doesn’t create the same pressures.
If you have pentane just use that, but don’t exceed 125°F at equal parts or you’ll still blow the lid. You want just enough pentane that your isolate all melts, but just barely. Then add your seeds and cap. When you see no more growth evaporate a small amount of solvent and continue like this until you’ve removed almost all of the pentane. Once it tries to sugar out remove the remaining pentane solution, purge your diamonds, and reintroduce your terp sauce.
To save your terps just separate them before you start recrystallization. You can do this with a staged cold crash and/or a fuge.
AND with access to a CLS, one can alter that ratio radically enough to make it useable by loading the collection and then recovering most of the solvent.
otherwise folks with any amount of propane in their solvent tank would be unable to use jar tek…
just try distilling a premixed solvent blend directly from the source tank…
Yeah the propane pressure is not ideal, “jars” I use if you could even call them that, more like baby jars from tiny to slightly bigger with reasonble thick glass.
Lids do buckle at higher temps at least the bigger baby jar did (latest from pics) so pressure pot is definatly comming.
Exactly the reason I was looking to pentane or heptane or even limoene to experimented with, probably going to try them all eventually.

so like when you see the “legs” stuff, schlieringer? lines thingies you about close to hitting metastable limit?
Then cool down evap as controlled as I can for growth and clarity.
Already did a wash with the solvent (not ideal to get the last bit of terps off but I just hillbilly skienced it ) I had on previous jars.
Been smoking the terps with little sugar left in its better than flower and she is already delicious, this is what I live for, it tasted so good I litterally put some on a piece of meat and ate it.
The rest ive been keeping cool to experiment with, couple of grams white/off white mixed batch, so nothing big to play with.
Been looking into cls, but I do such small runs I would need a mini.
Something deff gonna come, thinking about something that can be fitted on to my comming paint pressure pot.
Something I could still use this blend with, I found out I can order n butane and iso / pentane from a labshop but still sketch idk with todays people in charge and gas andshit😂 also dont want no one thinking why is this stoner ordering gas with us all the time, maybe we should alert the blue ones😂
Still gonna do it as they state no restrictions on those products for regular customers, on aceton they state “suspiciouse orders wil be…” but that was on some pre cursor list.
At this point it comes down to money, the right tools, and collecting enough stuff to play with and practice what ive learned so far. Been reading daily for months now
My latest run gave nice little stones biggest ones are like half a EU2cent in a week plus few days and almost everything turned to crystals very little sauce left, very pleased with it although the grain/sauce was easier for smoking with rolled tabbaco joints.
Bought a chest freezer that goes -24°c to -34+ ish (I hope -40 but idk)
Got a paint pressure pot and fire smoke ready around the corner.
Planning on buying a reptile egg incubator.
Got like 50ish grams a run to play with.
But honestly, bigger would only be showing off wich beside my own joy and maybe sharing here is more risk than anything.
This time I did a fresh frozen run butane/propane 85/15.
50grams ish(would it have been dry)
Got a paint pressure pot and ive put my little jar inside so at least its safe.
And my reptile incubator came so its been in there for 2 days temp cycling between 9celcius and 23 ish room temp. Set timer to 3 hours on 3 hours off.
Total time in jar is now 11 days, 13 from extraction, had it overnight in a salt/ice water bath.
And it has been in deep freezer -30+ for 24hours before final capping when those schlieringen(hate that name hope correct) lines were heavily noticeable.
Havent touched since and thought lets just have a look.
Threw multiple jars that had just bloomed in freezer, into a week ish older jar that already had begun crystalization🤣 about 70to 75% of the extract has crystalized.
It has been temp cycling for a week or 2 in total, different jars at first, but I got tired of having multiple little jars so 2 days after freezer bloom l poured everything into one.
Pour off was barely anything. The little left im gonna leave for taste.
