i was thinking cbd as well and assumed an ethanol soak. I guess looking at the tags on the top i would have realized it was thc.

If extraction / distillation efficiency is the focus, you may find value in analyzing the concentration cannabinoids in the waste. In this case, the spent trim and the residual waste side of the wiped film after clear cut. Something we do from time to time is test the terps produced from terp cut. This has helped us dial in machine parameters.
which is why I advise folks to bring testing in house early rather than late…
