Word, I don’t know why someone would use water if it’s thca and pentane…can’t see there being water solubles in there…
I’ve just used pentane that’s been in the dry ice tote…

Oh shit so when they say cold, I need it THAT cold? Could I just put it in my regular freezer?
I’ve never had a problem with using the freezer either, did it once and no problem.
Even about 40f there was very little loss into the pentane wash, and just put that in the next jar

…you can use a solvent you know your target is NOT soluble in.
OR you can use one your target IS soluble in, and lose a little bit.
One certainly gets you cleaner. (Or does it?)
What are your needs?
What are you willing to sacrifice?
Warmer water does a better job, at some point you’ll melt your target…which will get it cleaner, just like dissolving some.

Ohhh ok for sure. I thought you meant evaporating all the pentane out with the stones in there (to crash everything out)

@FicklePickle you did mean leave the stones in there till a bunch the pentane has evaporated to get all his weight back out .u may lose a lil to crystalizing, thca weight?

There may be some in the mother liquor, and there may be a slight film around the edges, but thca isn’t going to evaporate
What’s not in the crystals is in the mother liquor….

After harvest, introduce temperature to ML while stirring. Pour into new vessel and preferably seed, to continue re-crystallization.
