So pentane. Problem is if you need to preserve terps pentane is not the way to go due to the higher temps necessary to evaporate the remaining solvent from your extract. Great for isolate though.

If your propane blend is getting in the way its best to have a side tank for n butane . This will be handy at the end for making fat crack rock sized diamonds

Can you elaborate how the addition of acetone to a thca terpene pentane solution would enable you to seperate the terpenes from non desirable components? Genuinely curious and would love to learn more.

Dewax your concentrate in acetone
Once done add pentane in azeotropic amount to acetone/concentrate solution
Add 10% of additional pentane to solution
Distill of acetone/pentane azeotrope
Have a dry ice coldtrap in place !
You are now left with your dewaxed concentrate in a pentane solution

Keeping terps for acetone/pentane azeotrope is lowest solvent boiling point
Of readily available liquids
Acetone is a great winterizing solvent
And some consider it human friendly since on rare occasions body can excrete acetone

Bad ass trick! Have you tried this with butane instead of pentane?

No butane would be beter but is gaseous
And does not form an azeotrope with common solvents that would lower it s bp
This trick is ok for volume that needs winterization while keeping the terps
