You would do better to create your own post about this marvelously wonderful SS cold trap that you’re referencing in more than 1 post.

I would think that it comes from the cycling of temps. Going from dry ice slurry temps to room temp too fast will cause the plastic to weaken. You might have better luck if you increase the thickness of your lids… Just a thought anyway… I’m still curious about these cold traps of yours… If you wanted to have me review 1 of them I would be happy to do.
