Lol How does washing dirty crude dishes out mean this is a ReX? a ReX(re-crystallization) is taking almost pure pre crystalline materials (usually isolate) to recrash into bigger cleaner crystal’s with less impurity

Mechanical separated isolate and pentane looks the same regardless of whos sop is used :man_shrugging:

what do you guys do to a terp fraction you are not satisfied with the color on ?

I made diamonds just fine but I am rarely satisfied with the color of my terps even tho others are

Run them thru W1 ? Cold vac distillation ??

Darker yellow to slightly orange

Yellow is good. It sounds like it just needs to go through a small layer of silica first before going into the clay. If the biomass got a chance to soak during the process chances are it picked up some carotenoids and those won’t bleach well with clay. Carbon will but it also is too aggressive of a sorbent and takes terps/yield. Also acid activated clays work best if you run 60psi max or lower. Too hard and it pushes the adsorbed impurities off the sorbents
