Iv been using the 710 column packer. I did do reasearch before so im sure a person could make diy just seemed alot digging and time to come up with all the parts and proper hydraulic unit. But it was a lil over 10grand if i remember correctly
My column packer is 6in i can also change out to 4in
Im sure a mchine shop could make any size to attach to the hydraulic unit

I “milled” a fuck load of hemp this way. never an issue!
you need to dial in that leaf blower option with piping make it suck from a bin put it on a switch setup so it is easily controlled multiple setup tubes w socks fill simultaneously with a minion keeping the material coming. ill give u a consulting invoice for this lol
