So I put my jar in the cooler on dry ice and iso at 600ml. What would you say is a good ML to close the lid after the 2 hr at room temp ? I use tri blend solvent and its a live run. Also I don’t see any seeds but there is a layer of white on the bottom.

Pull it out let it evap till u have slow moving bubbles after the jar has been at room temp for few hrs

Its thin but oily. If blow across it and makes oil layer ur pretty good usually

It should be fairly close to where the oil line will be when it’s all evaporated. Then cap it

Has anyone tried pouring there terp sauce from one batch after its done into another that’s about to be capped?

Curious about how that would affect things…

you would be diluting your thca in the new batch with terps that will stick around a lot longer than butane. Might be good for a loooong term growth project.

I was thinking you may need less butane overall when capping, I think I’m gonna try this my next run. Because why not right?

I added a fresh pour to a batch that was ready to separate. Diamond growth took off. I was also gonna try what you mentioned to see what happens.

I think it will make things less reliant on the butane maybe? Since technically the terps are a solvent, and the some of the carrier solution, adding more will create a need for less butane?

Dunno, the more I think about it, it might be a neat trick.

Tbh I think the butane plays a very lil roll in it these days. Esp w ppl growing stones w no lid. They preached this forever to me years ago but I wouldn’t listen. Purity of extract is one ur biggest factors. Solubility is something I wanna really learn on this year if I can. Might used wrong word. Saturation curve maybe

I’m part of the club!!! Thank you so fucking much @StoneD for the golden secret to getting the saturation just right. Thank you so much everyone here for the advice given along the way as well but I gotta say without @StoneD I wouldn’t have been able to grow my first successful diamonds.

These were open blast made for experimentation and they’re a little fatty but I got stones and sauce!!!
