Indeed, patients with PEG tubes are very easy. Almost anything can be added to their nutrition and they are managed by the hospital staff or with homecare of some sort. I deal mostly with enterally nourished patients, they are trying their best to live a normal life at home with their families in an outpatient setting. I see quite a few little ones with nasogastric tubes as well which adds to my desire to keep the candy as small as possible

The less water in the final recipe, the longer your shelf life. We can store ours for up to 6 months so far. Testing still in progress for longevity.
