Most cost effective ethanol chilling solution..or alternatives

Depends on how nicely you treat them. Good particulate filtration upstream and you don’t run them excessively hot? I believe the standard is “at least 6 months” but I don’t have any direct experience with ethanol membranes.

Cost depends on your scale but I don’t think even the most expensive ethanol ones run up to $5000 for the biggest modules. But that’s definitely a @MagisterChemist question.

Everything costs money, unfortunately. I had a call today about getting a bulk tank of LN2 installed here, and that’s a very non-trivial endeavour.

Thats a lot of liquid nitrogen to get their quoted numbers. It would impress the hell out of me if it didn’t fall on in the 60% rule

I do about 2000 a day and these will last well over a year. If I clean them well and do what ur suppose to I wouldn’t be surprised if they last two years
