Calling the THCa they bought in from out of state “hemp” is a bit of a stretch…
It was all hemp derived. These guys are right down the road from me. Scumbags.
That certainly seems to be their claim.
I doubt the “THCA == hemp” is gonna fly, but who knows.
Ahh, I see what you’re saying now. They’re trying to say it was hemp to get a lesser punishment, but the authorities probably won’t go for that. I gotcha. Agreed.
Indeed…
Their claim appears to be “we did not invert, that wasn’t weed…”
Not sure if this one will set precedent, it might.
You don’t track “non-weed” inputs in metrc lol… they’re so fucked.
Yep, that’s how they took 4 grams of concentrate and magically made 38kg
Just added some hemp that they don’t need to track…
14 From what this shows in Metrc is that the facility
15 took a certain amount of bud flower material and they took
16 that and they made concentrate. They made 223 grams of
17 concentrate. And from that 223 grams, then they took
18 4 grams of that concentrate, and then they came up with
19 38,698 grams
They claim that they thought this was legit…
Rachel Herndon, COO of Delta, also defended the product during an Aug. 14 commission hearing.
“We bolstered this industry, we supported this industry, and we cut costs low for consumers,” she said. “And we did it all while being in constant communication with the state and believing that our processes were allowed and appropriate. All of our product was tested. And we have no consumer complaints.”
some people’s children…
“all of our product was tested” lmaoooooooooooooo. oh well in that case, you guys are fine!
