Most likely used plastics in the transport of ingrediants to fill that aluminum can.
I had a class in college called enviormental safety engineering in early 2000 and the complaint was cellphones and baby diapers.
Now i keep seeing articles on microplastics. How times change
iirc the cans are lined with “plastic”…so yeah, not a win.
they are certainly more fun to recycle

a lower tech solution is to pull more before it gets that far…
Line a percentage of the label in thin gold rolling papers. Make it worthwhile to recover.
Gotta start somewhere how many people on here still use plastic shopping bags and water bottles?
