Oklahoma you can buy a gun with a Oklahoma issued ID at a gun show and they do no background check or anything

Theres some loop hole in the state pertaining to gun shows

My favorite gunshop in my hometown is next to my favorite dispo, usually stop by both whenever i go to one.

Oregon background checks have always been instant for me on long guns. Even on cans. Pistols take a few days.

I though forsure when i bought my Barrett m99 it would of taken a few days for the paperwork to clear, but nop, walked in with cash and out with a 50cal. Gotta love 'merica

In OR you can get a rifle with a crabing license, as its an offical government document/identification. Ive heard that this loophole can be abused by people out of state

Illinois is the only state that requires a firearm owners id card. The funny thing is, they have mostly stopped sending them out. They got 2 to 3 years behind at one point. They cash the check right away, no problem there. I waited 2 years and all I got was another application in the mail, just that single piece of paper in the envelope. But itā€™s a small price to pay for completely eliminating gun violence in our fair state. :policeman:

I have 30 day waits in Oregon

Must have to do with the firearm charges I beat. I now use ffls and still the same wait. Canā€™t imagine the ass rape Iā€™m gonna have to deal with getting cans.

My funnest time was getting all my felonies expunged and trying to buy a gun that day.

I got handcuffed and put in a staties car for a few hours while they figured out I was legit.

Personally, I agree with you.

But I also have family members who would benefit from medical cannabis who refuse to do it because they donā€™t want to give up their rights or be required to lie on a government form.
