I’ve been working with MIT for a while: Domestic extracted, albeit at a premium & a couple Foriegn with domestic distribution.
Everyone that I’ve sold FB MIT to, actually converts 7oH or MGM. So: there’s ongoing supply lines of ea output molecule. But they prefer to work with KGs. Yes I can get 100grams but it’s always at a higher price then 1kg, vs 10kgs vs 50+… 100s on contract etc.
Margins are relatively fixed for premium product. I see maybe 10% per mg active molecule fluctuations between 60% to 90% purity… but most clients Want 75% - 85% or 95% purity.
Since MIT remains the feedstock to convert, everyone in the conversion game, is limited by a few factors:
- What they use as inputs
- Their actual SOP
- Whether they spend the money to refine [chromatography work.]
I’ve seen 99% Total MIT [combined minor & MIT] ALKALOIDS, I’ve seen 99% Corynantheidine, I’ve seen 95% MGM, I don’t usually see better them 85% 7oH. And the avg MIT % is usually between 78% and 85%
Depending on people’s use case, I see a fraction of the industry precipitate into Salts & use >30% for concentrates & liquids. >50-60% for press tabs. & 75%+ for conversions.
I am cultivating relationships with anyone that has a successful Kratom based business. Whether it’s to potentially supply inputs, or to potentially partner for securing offramps of their finished products, or even simple toll partnerships utilizing their equipment or infrastructure for white label options.
If you have a desire to sample product, it’s easier if you send a label & choose how much you want to invest, and we will simply send a comparable package of the desired product, and not imposition the relationships if for any reason you don’t decide to proceed with their specific offerings.
Always open to share Media, provide POP, and develop rapport even work a sample order on materials before any real money is moved.
The only vendors we deal with are Transactional, and we are still scaling into our own conversion business, where we will be able to exclusively control all outputs in house.
